The Great Cereal Box Challenge

The Great Cereal Box Challenge!

On Thursday afternoon, our students gathered with excitement to watch The Great Cereal Box Challenge in action — and what a spectacular sight it was. After weeks of collecting cereal for the Foothills Food Drive, our school proudly lined up 300 cereal boxes across the soccer pitch, ready for one giant domino-style topple.

We were thrilled to have Stephen from the Foothills Food Drive join us for the event. With everyone counting down, Stephen gave the first box a gentle push, and the entire line toppled in a long, winding chain. Cheers erupted as the final box fell. To make the moment even more memorable, the whole event was filmed from above using a drone, capturing the excitement from a bird’s-eye view. The video can be viewed on our school Facebook page.

Most importantly, every one of those 300 cereal boxes has now been donated to the Foothills Food Drive, supporting families in our local community.

It was a fun, meaningful afternoon — full of teamwork, generosity, and plenty of smiles.
