Cultural Program

Our cultural program covers a number of areas from the Victorian Curriculum. Our program looks at aspects of international studies, indigenous studies and some curriculum work around the use of Auslan (Australian Sign Language) for areas including the alphabet, greetings, colours and some basic terms. We hope to work towards all teachers being able to include some of this language in their classrooms. Prep to year 4 students participate in these classes all year with Ms. Atkinson and 5/6 students look at Auslan in term 1 with Mrs. Flanagan.
