Visual Art

Our Visual Arts program provides students with a rich opportunity to explore their creativity, imagination and self-expression. Through hands-on experiences, students develop artistic skills while learning to think critically and solve problems. They are encouraged to make thoughtful decisions about colour, composition and design in their work.

At Ferntree Gully North, students enjoy working with a wide variety of materials and techniques, from painting and drawing to sculpture and mixed media. They take pride in showcasing their artwork throughout the school and in the broader community, celebrating both individual achievements and collaborative group projects.

Visual Arts sessions also encourage cultural appreciation and global awareness. Students are introduced to artists from Australia and around the world, gaining insights into different artistic styles, traditions, and perspectives.
