Assembly
We had our first assembly live with all the classes last week. Well done to our leaders for setting the scene. We will be developing further ideas about assembly during the term.
Curriculum Day and Cup Day
Our curriculum day saw our staff work together planning for 2021. I know that our families like us are looking forward to a fresh start next year. We hope families enjoyed the four day break.
Prep Transition On Line
Prep transition has started on line small group sessions for our 2021 preps. Josh Chamberlain and Alana Aiello are doing a great job planning and preparing activities for these sessions. Moving forward there will be at least one opportunity for our students to come on site. We are still working through the logistics of this and Josh and Alana will be in touch via email with our families.
Exciting Additions to the School
Our new totem poles of our values have been installed at the front of the school along with new signs on the gate. It is exciting to see these installed and they are a great addition to our school. Our students and staff live these values every day. Watch out for our new school signs coming soon next week (weather permitting).
Uniform Moving into 2021.
The change over to Klad Uniforms has had some challenges for everyone this year. Start planning for 2021 now that retail is opening up. The uniform policy is below. In 2021 students will be wearing the girl’s track pants, the same as the staff ones, and there is the choice of skorts or shorts for girls as well. The year 6 jumpers and sports tops for 3-6 will be available through Klad. Students in prep-5 will need the school jumper/bomber jacket. If you have any questions please contact the office or Klad.
Fees
Thank you to those families who have actioned their fees or contacted the office to make an individualised parent payment plan. Again, if you have any questions please contact the office.

On Thursday the 22nd of October, our 2021 Prep students had their first virtual transition session. Although we were not able to see all their smiling faces in person, it was so wonderful to see them on our screens joining in with all the fun. All of them were so brave, engaging in all activities by sharing their thoughts and ideas. Together we enjoyed reading ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and we created our very own hungry caterpillars and beautiful butterflies. Everyone did such a terrific job, showing great persistence when practising their fine motor skills through cutting, pasting and colouring in. How cute do they look?
Well done to all our new prep students, we can’t wait for our next transition session together on Thursday the 5th of November!
